A babysitter is a childcare provider who comes to a family’s home or place of stay on an as-needed basis. A babysitter may or may not assist with other childcare-related household duties.  The babysitter’s primary purpose is to monitor and care for children. 

When a family books a babysitter with Nancy’s Nannies, a booking fee is paid to the agency via credit card and the babysitter is paid directly in cash or check at the end of the scheduled time.

Nancy’s Nannies of Raleigh offers babysitters after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and anytime on weekends.  There is a four-hour minimum per booking.  There is no registration fee.

• At least 18 years of age and High School educated
• Legal resident of the United States
• Interviewed by agency twice
• Childcare experience with references
• Reliable transportation is required
• Clean criminal background, sex offender check
• If lived out of state within the past 2 years an addition 7 year resident history is conducted
• CPR trained

2 Children – $13
3 Children – $15
